Jennifer L. Donaldson

Jennifer L. Donaldson

Jennifer Donaldson is a seasoned trial lawyer who represents clients in a wide variety of personal injury and wrongful death cases resulting from automobile, motorcycle trucking and bicycle crashes, premises liability/slip and fall incidents, skiing and snowboarding crashes, dog bites injuries and nursing home negligence cases. Jennifer founded Donaldson Law, LLC over 30 years ago and has successfully represented thousands of injured clients over the years.

With over 36 years of experience, Jennifer has shown her commitment and ingenuity in representing her clients in the Denver area and throughout the state of Colorado. She has successfully litigated many complex cases, recovering the compensation sorely needed by her clients. She develops strong connections with her clients, juries, adjusters and opposing counsel. The strength of these relationships, coupled with her empathy and understanding of the law contribute to her successful representation of seriously injured individuals.

Jennifer Donaldson’s drive, knowledge and high ethical standards have been recognized by the legal community and her peers, earning her the AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell for the highest level of professional excellence for legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards for more than 25 years. She has also been selected by her peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America for personal injury and insurance litigation. She is recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Colorado Super Lawyers and included as a “Top Lawyer” by 5280 Magazine. She was awarded the New Trial Lawyer of the Year award by the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association in 1998.

Attorney Jennifer Donaldson believes that every case deserves to be prepared as if it will proceed to trial. Her effectiveness in the courtroom has gained her firm the reputation as a professional and hardworking organization. A member of the American Association for Justice and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Jennifer Donaldson receives many referrals for personal injury and negligence cases that ultimately proceed to a jury or bench trial.

Jennifer makes it her priority to provide each client with the care and attention that they need to overcome their difficult situations. She does not believe in a “volume” or “factory” approach to the practice of law and understands that every client and their situation is unique. She believes that only by investigating the smallest details, asking the right questions, and truly listening to the client can a case be given the best possible chance to succeed.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and the two adult sons, traveling, and enjoying many of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer, including hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, and snowshoeing.
